CFOP
Community Forest Operational Plan (CFOP) is to describe in detail the planned operations for the community forest for the following 5 years.  It is developed by the Operations Manager for the SCPI Board of Directors and for the public.

It consists of a map showing areas of interest for harvesting to be planned, proposed harvesting blocks, planned and engineered blocks within the Community Forest tenure area, as well as a set of guidelines describing how management will account for values in the field and
what types of operations will be undertaken.

The CFOP is not a requirement of government legislation or regulations, but has been developed to provide the public with a very detailed set of information about forest resource management and operational planning because our community has a very high level of interest in local forest resource use.

It is a proactive planning tool; it enables the community to identify and resolve resource use conflicts far into the future to ensure values are managed properly and so that operations can proceed as planned.
