GLEN BONDERUD

Glen
spent 27 years with MacMillan Bloedel Ltd., and was President of
MacMillan Bloedel KK, in Tokyo, Japan, in 1988. Since then he has held
senior positions in Higa Industries Canada, Canwell Distribution Ltd.,
and BuildDirect. Glen is now retired. Over a career of 40 years, Glen,
as a senior executive with extensive domestic and international
marketing, sales and operations experience, made some significant
accomplishments and developed some important strengths:
-Administration of a cross cultural sales organization for successful expansion of business
-Establishing and maintaining long-term business relationships from suppliers to customers on an international level
-Research and marketing/business strategy on a world wide basis
-A broad knowledge of the forestry industry.
ROBERT (Bob) M. SITTERVice-Chair and President

Bob is a
seasoned executive with a strong track record of accomplishments across
all major business functions within the forest products industry. He is
a previous President and CEO of International Forest Products Ltd.
(IFP), a public company directly employing over 3000. Robert is an
entrepreneurial, strategically focused executive with proven visionary
and inspirational leadership skills. He has a solid reputation with
industry executives, labour leaders, government and environmental
leaders and is recognized for his personal honesty and integrity. Bob
is involved in boating and hiking activities and his knowledge of the
forests, mountain-tops, trails and waterways has grown over the years.
He
is a member of the Halfmoon Bay Citizens Association and was one of the
founding directors. Over the years, Bob has been a director of many
organizations relating to business and community activities.
STAN ANDERSONDirector

Stan is a 50 year resident of the Sunshine Coast. Immediately after graduating from high school, he worked in the logging industry on the Sunshine Coast and Vancouver Island. He started as a boom man with Jackson Brothers and became logging Camp Foreman for Stoltz Logging.
In 1970, he turned to real estate sales, and in 1975, he and his wife, Diane, formed their own real estate and development company. Stan was a founding member of the Sunshine Coast Real Estate Association and served as President for many years. He served as a Director of the St. Mary's Hospital for 8 years and a Director of the Sunshine Coast Credit Union for 16 years.
TIM ANDERSONDirector

After articling with Peat, Marwick, Mitchell, Chartered Accountants, in Prince George, Tim spent 20 years in the north, initially in public practice and then as the controller for a major logging contractor in Burns Lake, and later a logging equipment supplier in Prince George. He subsequently worked with three school districts as Secretary-Treasurer, most recently on the Sunshine Coast. He has been on the Coast for twenty years, retiring from the School District in 2001. In addition to his experience in both the private and public arenas, he has been involved as: a School Trustee, including Board Chair, a Director of the Sunshine Coast Credit Union, including three years as Chairman, a member of the local Eldercollege Committee, and an active participant in local theatre, sailing and skiing.

Jo-Anne Frank is the Director of Corporate Services for the District of Sechelt.
TONY GREENFIELDDirector
In the spring of 1969 Tony was passing
through the Sunshine Coast and has been here ever since, considering it
to be the best place in the world to live. After a 30 year career as a
silviculture contractor planting 80,000,000 seedlings, Tony is now
operating a nature tour company. Tony has been president of the Sunshine
Coast Natural History Society for many years, and has a detailed
knowledge of local flora, fauna and ecosystems.
PETER MOONENDirector

Peter Moonen is a third generation British Columbian who has his roots in the forest sector. He has more than 25 years experience as a communications specialist, the last 19 years in the forest industry. He is co-leader of the Sustainable Building Coalition formed with the Canadian Wood Council, Forest Products Association of Canada and various industry, government and non-government organizations. He is also Coordinator of Sustainability and Special Projects for WoodWORKS!, a program developed by the Canadian Wood Council to stimulate and enhance a wood culture in B.C. through education, training and awareness-building programs.
He has been involved in community economic development, especially transitional strategies for small, rural and resource economies. He has worked closely with several communities around the province in enhancing and diversifying their economies with special emphasis on meeting the needs of small and medium sized value-added businesses. He is currently president of the B.C. Wood Co-op, an organization promoting B.C. made value added wood products.
He has a double major degree in Marine Biology and Zoology as well as studying forestry at the University of British Columbia and Communications and Marketing in Calgary. He lives in RobertsCreek with his wife, three daughters and one son.
TOM PINFOLDDirector

Dr. Pinfold is President of Gardner Pinfold Consulting Economists Ltd., with offices in Sechelt and Halifax. He is trained in quantitative and qualitative economics, and holds Bachelor, Master and Doctoral degrees in economics.
Tom has been an Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Special Lecturer and Honourary Adjunct Professor of Economics at Dalhousie University. He was also an Economic Advisor, for three years, to the Ministry of Finance & Planning, Nairobi, Kenya.

A long time resident, activist and conservationist, Elise (retired physiotherapist) has been involved with many aspects of Land Use, Parks & Greenway Planning.
One of the driving forces behind the HMB Greenway Enthusiasts (this group has built and maintained many of the wonderful trails that have now been protected within Old Growth Management Areas.) Community involvement - Area B Area Planning Committee, Sargeant Bay Society, Halfmoon Bay Citizens Association, Food Bank volunteer, Sunshine Coast Community Foundation director.
