FSP
The Forest Stewardship Plan (FSP) is a legal document, a requirement of the Forest and Range Practices Act (FRPA), that describes how a licensee will manage all resources within their tenure area.  It addresses values from site to landscape level for a period of up to five years.  The FSP states results and strategies that must be consistent with government objectives for the management of all resources, and must be measurable and verifiable.  It is intended to be precise and succinct, not giving specific direction or methodology, leaving forest professionals to develop strategies to meet objectives.
