As per our Tendering Policy, all significant harvesting, road building, silviculture and other miscellaneous tenders will be posted to this page after they are advertised in the local media.Â All information packages will be made available for downloading by perspective bidders.
Sechelt Community Projects Inc. requires qualified, Safe Certified stump to dump logging and road construction contractors interested in harvesting approximately 34,500 m3 of timber and/or building 2.0 km of logging road in the Wilson Creek and Halfmoon Bay areas.Â It is anticipated that the roads would be built between December 2017 and May 2018 and that the volume would be harvested between December 2017 and May 2020.Â Â Tender packages can be downloaded and are also available for pickup at the office.
This tender offering is now closed.Â We thank all contractors who submitted bids.Â The bids are under review and contracts will be awarded in the near future.
Local value added manufacturers and firewood cutters are also encouraged to contact our office regarding purchasing by-products from this yearâ€™s activities. These include firewood, short cedar blocks, fence rails and other forest products.
