About the event
Our Annual General Meeting is an opportunity for the public and our shareholder, the District of Sechelt, to learn about our activities of the past year, and also to look forward with the appointment of new directors to our board. Please join us for our 20th AGM.
Guest Speaker: Nick Soverel
We are excited to announce our guest speaker for this year’s AGM. Nick Soverel is founder of Frontera Forest Solutions, and is joining us to speak on planning for Climate Resilient Forests. His work brings together wildfire science and climate modelling to support long-term forest planning in a changing environment. (Note: we’ve also put a convenient link on the event page to join Frontera’s April 16th Webinar introducing their new provincial wildfire threat dataset for anyone wanting to do a deep dive and come to the AGM prepared to get the most out of this talk.)
