Community Receives Funds

The Sunshine Coast Community Forest is pleased to present the Sunshine Coast Trails Society with a  cheque for $22,000 dollars to fund their recreational trail strategy and GPS mapping of the Sunshine Coast’s sanctioned trails, a project we feel is well worthwhile for helping tourism on the coast.  We commend the Trails Society for undertaking this project for the enjoyment of residents locally and to attract visitors to the coast. The Mountain Bike Tourism Association study of the Sea to Sky corridor convinced us we had an opportunity to enhance hikers’ experience and bring more economic value to the tourism industry.

The Community Forest is committed to economic development and job creation on the coast.  We wish the Trails Society the best of success in promoting this project and attracting visitors to our world from around the world.
