Film Launch: Rooted Together - Watch Now

The BC Community Forest Association (BCCFA) has released a new film entitled Rooted Together, created to highlight the value and impact of community forests throughout British Columbia.

Community forests put people, place, and stewardship at the centre. This film shows how, and why, it works. Created to build awareness, the film shares stories from community forests across the province, showcasing their role in reconciliation, resilience, and sustainable, locally driven forest management.

The Sunshine Coast Community Forest's story is one of five that are featured in the film.

As part of this project we've been fortunate to release a shorter, 4 min film, A Forest for Our Children focused solely on the SCCF's journey the past several years and its vision for the future!
