S100A Basic Fire Suppression and Safety Training

SCCF offered local contractors free S100 Training provided by our local Province of BC recognized instructor - Kelly Hatfull of Hatfull & Associates held April 29th.

We thank everyone who contributed their time to build local fire suppression capacity among forest industry workers, and those companies who sent staff for training to support this initiative.

Every year, forestry workers take a half-day refresher to practice using their emergency response equipment including specialized pumps, and every five years a more comprehensive multi day course includes theory as well as hands-on practice. The SCCF is committed to supporting forestry worker safety by organizing and sponsoring training delivery locally on the Sunshine Coast.
