Legacy Fund Grants

At the October 16, 2019 regular Council meeting of the District of Sechelt, Councilors approved our recommendations for five Legacy Fund grants.

Pender Harbour District Health Centre – $40,000 to purchase and equip a handicapped accessible van which will be used to transport residents to health appointments.

Roberts Creek Community Association – $100,000 to replace the roof of the Roberts Creek Community Hall and/or make exterior repairs.

Rotary Club of the Sunshine Coast – $35,000 to purchase and install Automated External Defibrillators throughout the Sunshine Coast.

Sunshine Coast Arts Council – $100,000 to replace the roof of the Arts Centre in Sechelt and/or make other necessary repairs.

syiyaya Reconciliation Project – $10,000; the final installment for the Totem Pole carving project being undertaken by Mr. Tony Paul.
