Ministry of Forests Landslide Report Released

The Ministry of Forests, Lands, Natural Resource Operations, and Rural Development has released an engineering report titled Burnett Creek Tributary Landslide Assessment

This report assesses a landslide which occurred within the Community Forest during the atmospheric river weather event in mid-November 2021. The landslide was above the Sechelt Landfill site, 3K north along the Sechelt-Dakota Forest Service Road and the road is open.
