At the August 5, 2015 District of Sechelt Council meeting, Council voted to approve a grant from the SCCF Legacy Fund in the amount of $75,000 to the Davis Bay – Wilson Creek – Selma Park Community Association. This grant will be used to restore the Community Hall, the Music Makers building and the Teddy Bear Day Care Centre. These buildings are over 60 years old and are actively used by many groups and individuals throughout the Coast. Major renovations are required on each of the buildings and the grant will go a long way to ensure they remain an essential community asset.
